By plane from Bali

You'll reach Mataram airport in Lombok in about 25 mins.

From Singapore there are direct flights to Mataram airport in Lombok with Silk Air 4 times a week.

From the airport in Mataram you can choose to get to Gili Trawangan by yourself or let us take care of your transport for you.

We can arrange a private car and driver to meet you at the arrivals terminal, take you the 40 minute drive along the spectacular coastal road where your speed boat awaits to take you the 10 minute journey to the island.

By fast boat from Bali

There are several options to come by fast boat. Either from Benoa Harbour, in the south of Bali in 2,5 hours or from Padang Bai harbour, east Bali in about 1 hour.

These boats are the most direct option as they take you directly onto Gili Trawangan?s beach without the hassle of changing transport.
Pick up from your hotel is arranged by the boat company and is free of charge depending on the area you stay in.

Other options

Perama have a shuttle bus in Bali and traditional Phinisi boat service. This budget option takes about 6 to 8 hrs depending on the weather conditions.

Tickets can be bought at any travel agent or in one of the Perama offices.

Getting here by yourself

From the airport you can take a taxi or charter a car to Bangsal harbour. The public boat leaves when the boat is full, which is 20 people.
There for it is hard to tell the departure time, however you can just buy all the remaining tickets and the boat will leave.

You can also charter a boat there, this is fixed price between 7am and 16.30pm.
If you arrive outside these times, you can still charter a boat, if there is a captain available, but you will need to have good bargaining skills to get a good price.

Once you set foot on the island you can take the local taxi, a horse and cart, to Karma Kayak.

There will be horse carts waiting in the harbour at any time of the day.

You'll find Karma Kayak at North Beach, just turn right when you step off the boat.
